Innsbruck Medical University (Austria) has as international PhD Program in
“Signal Processing in Neurons (SPIN).” It offers interdisciplinary research and
training in Clinical Neurobiology, Genomics and RNomics, Molecular and
Cellular Pharmacology, Neuroanatomy, Neurobiochemistry, Immunology/Neuro -
immunology, Molecular Neurobiology, Pharmacy and Physiology.
We offer three-year positions in the following areas: (1) Nogo proteins and
their receptors in the healthy and diseased nervous system (C. Bandtlow);
(2) Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology/Stem Cells (G. Dechant); (3) Impact
of Brain Functions on Muscular Performance and Endurance (A. Hüttenhofer);
(4) Experimental Pain Research (M. Kress); (5) Immunopathogenesis of Multiple
Sclerosis (M. Reindl).
We are seeking talented and committed students to join the program in October
2009. You will have a diploma (master level) in the subjects mentioned above.
