Who you are
You’re someone who wants to influence your own development. In this position you will join a highly motivated team devoted to cell line development. You will be responsible for creating stable cell lines with a specific glycosylation profile and performing different expression analysis. Furthermore you will be actively involved in the development of new expression systems and cell culture media and process development up to the 10l scale.
For this interesting position in a dynamic environment we are looking for an experienced Research Technician with some years of professional experience in sterile techniques. Furthermore hands-on experience in the cultivation of mammalian cells as well as the
creation of stable cell lines is favourable for this position. As educational background you hold a degree of an advanced technical college or as a Research Technician with several years of experience in either Biology or Chemistry – the later would be in conjunction with a supplementary education in biology. You should also be familiar with ELISA, western blotting and other molecular biology techniques. Sound oral and written English are a must and good knowledge in oral and written German are beneficial. You have a quick grasp of new techniques and a high degree of self-motivation. Furthermore you are able to work on your own and are known for your accurate but yet efficient working style. In addition you interact effectively with a truly multinational team of scientists.
