International PhD program 2008/2009

starting on October 1, 2008 in Freiburg i. Br. (Germany).

We invite applications from all countries. Applicants must hold a Masters degree or a Diploma (or equivalent) in Biology, Biochemistry, Medicine, Chemistry, or related fields. It is not necessary to hold the degree at the point of application. However, you must have been awarded your degree prior to the start of the program in October 2008. Candidates have to be fluent in written and spoken English and should document their proficiency in English (TOEFL etc.). German is not required. All applications are reviewed and candidates are selected for personal interviews in Freiburg based on their academic qualification, motivation, CV, suitability to the program and two confidential letters of recommendation. The closing date for online registration is May 3, 2008 and for full applications May 10, 2008.
