CENTER OF EXCELLENCE IN GENOMIC MEDICINE RESEARCH (CEGMR).
The Center of Excellence belongs to the most accepted University
in Saudi Arabia: The King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. The Center enjoys
the strong support of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), too. The
CEGMR initiates different programs to establish a leading location for advanced
genome research. The Center is dedicated to the advancement of medicine, and
the translation of research findings into better health care.
The Center strives to provide an environment that enhances individual growth
and scientific freedom, collaboration, achievement and recognition.
The key aspects of the Center will be:
1. Stem Cell Research Program
2. Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis
3. Cancer Genomic Research Program
4. Neurogenetic Research Program.

The equipment of the Center is excellent. Jeddah, second biggest city in Saudi
Arabia, is a modern and developing seaport at the cost of the Red Sea. The
Center requires urgently a TEAM LEADER and 15 SCIENTISTS, Researchers
and Experts in Marketing of Science in the relevant fields. The Team Leader will
direct a group of extremely motivated international scientists who have been
trained in the best universities in their fields.
Responsibilities
- Researching in the relevant fields on the highest level
- Creating close collaboration with the leading Genomic Research Centers worldwide
- Developing a scientific network to participate in the discussion of the scientific community
- Strengthening the Center's visibility and worldwide acceptance by implementing modern instruments of science management and marketing
- Contributing to establish Jeddah the leading scientific location in the Gulf Region
Qualifications
- 5 to 15 years of experience of research in the relevant fields
- Relevant Master Degree at a renowned University, PhD is an important asset
- Interested in working in a multinational environment and an ambitious team
- Strong English language skills
- Experience in “Science Management”
Duration
Contracts will be issued for two years, can be renewed
